Dave’s Tech Tip’sHawk Blues
have great initial bite, but are hard on rotors. PFC 97’s have
less initial bite, easy on rotors and have a significantly
longer life. For Spec Miata’s we are now selling more PFC pads
then Hawk’s. We have race winners using both, it’s simply your
own preference.
Performance Friction (PF97) PFC 97 is a
medium torque race compound, and has the flattest torque curve of
all the Performance Friction compounds. Effective from 167
º F and
reach 2000
º F and
are extremely easy on the discs with very low wear.

designed specifically for Spec Miatas. These D.O.T.
approved kits feature a one piece hose design that will
go directly from the hard-line to the calipers with no
adapters. All lines feature a clear sheathing over
the entire line for enhanced protection. Available
for a limited time as a no extra charge option is your
choice of Black, Red or Blue (black gives a Carbon Fiber
look) sheathing. Following this introductory
period the colored Sheathing will be a $10.00 upgrade.
